歌曲背景介紹： 這支Say You Say Me 是Lionel Richie的代表作之一， 最早收錄於1986年的專輯Dancing on the Ceiling當中， 這首歌是他應邀為電影「飛越蘇聯」（White Nights） 譜寫一首同名的主題曲。他花了兩個星期的時間，發現自己 無法寫出那樣的一首歌，不過倒是譜成了另外一首他覺得可能 很適合該片劇情的歌曲，那也就是「Say You, Say Me」。 導演聽過之後，也非常喜歡，因此決定放在片子結尾。 結果，這首歌不但勇奪冠軍，更囊括了奧斯卡與金球獎雙料 的「最佳電影歌曲」。由於歌曲使用權的關係， 「Say You, Say Me」當年並沒有收錄在「飛越蘇聯」的 原聲帶專輯中，而出現於萊諾李奇1986年的第三張 個人專輯「Dancing on the Ceiling」裡面。
